The butterfly is a symbol of metamorphosis, Renovation, rebirth, and also a symbol of purity and clarity. This Series is based on my personal belief in reincarnation that has a long and philosophical debate. In fact, for me, this series is a process of self-knowledge through the old photos. To see how much my present life is similar to or derived from the past.

Nazli Abbaspour was born in 1975 in Tehran and got BA in photography and She works as a photographer. She has solo exhibitions and has participated in several exhibitions nationally and internationally- including Austria, Germany, Cermodern Museum in Turkey, etc. She won prizes in some festivals such as BIFA, PX3, IPA, FAPA.
