Born in London 1979, Joubeen Mireskandari, B.A. in Graphic Design from Science and Culture University in Tehran (2001), began his career as designer and photographer from 1998. In 2005 he won the first prize for the most impressive poster at COW International Design Festival in Ukraine.
He exhibited his photos in several solo shows, participated in many group shows and online magazines locally and internationally.
In 2019 “View From Outside” series was curated by Behzad Hatam and exhibited in Tehran and Isfahan alongside publishing a photo book of the artist by Nazar Art Publication written by Behzad Hatam.
In 2022 his latest series “Scenes Not Thoroughly Seen” was exhibited in online show at Silk Road Gallery.
He also has co-founded a curatorial platform “Sogol & Joubeen Studio” with Sogol Kashani. In 2022 The fifth Rencontres d’Arles curatorial research fellowship is awarded to the Sogol & Joubeen Studio for the project A House.
