In the Path of Great Winds
Selected by Sajjad Kashef
If we accept the premise that an artist, throughout their career, is constantly striving to define their relationship with reality—a reality that serves as a launchpad to an imaginary world—then achieving such a possibility necessitates the artist equipping themselves with tools that allow them to access a personal language.
Sometimes this happens consciously, as a result of years of effort and perseverance and sometimes it is the result of a coincidence that the artist has no control over. Whatever the case, the obligation of the endless struggle between dream and reality rests on the shoulders of the artist who, through the continuity of their personal language, intends to create another form of experiencing reality.
