Bozorgmehr is known for his social topics. It is his close and sincere engagement with people and society that brings him attention and recognition. Almost all of his works are about live and bold social topics but the element of humor is always present in whatever he does. In this live painting event, too, Bozorgmehr is aiming to engage the public directly in his process of art making. Through his planned event, he wishes to project the public directly on his final creation and to use the occasion to give his audience the chance to contemplate and engage in his process of creative as his live-on inspiration. Bozorgmehr is considered one of the most loved and active cartoonists who still reside and work in Iran. Born in 1976, Bozorgmehr graduated from Tehran’s university of Arts with a degree in painting and started his professional career in the press in 1990. He has worked with some of Iran’s most successful publication such as Golagha magazine, Kyhan caricature monthly, Zan newspaper, Soroush e Nojavan magazine, Roshd e Nojavan magazine, Norouz newspaper, Aftabegardan newspaper, Eghbal newspaper, and Chelcheragh weekly magazine. He is also the winner of several prizes both in Iran and internationally.
