Ebrahim Noroozi is an award-winning photographer who has worked for nearly a decade at The Associated Press. He’s been thrice honored by World Press Photo, including a first prize in 2013 for his observed portraits of the targets of acid attacks in Iran called “Victims of Forced Love.”
His other awards include a first place in the Nikon Photo Contest 2012-2013, an award from the International Photography Awards and an honorable mention in 2012 from the National Press Photographers Association. His images for the AP have been carried by newspapers, magazines and websites across the world. His artwork has been exhibited at Paris Photo and other exhibitions as recently as 2021.
Some of his photos are in the Smithsonian Museum’s collection in Washington and Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts. his photos has been represented in “Vision of the east” the 19th edition of La Gacilly photo festival,France.
